**A Skilled Facility is not a Long-Term Care facility.  A Skilled Facility is where you may go to recover from an illness, and you are expected to get better. A long-term care facility is where you may have to go to for the rest of your life because of your decreasing health condition.  Medicare and Medicare Supplement do not pay for any benefit in a Long-term care facility.  
​***A Medicare Advantage HMO Plan means you must stay in the insurance company's network of hospitals and doctors.  If you go out of the network, you will pay all costs.  A Medicare Advantage PPO plan lets you go out of the network for your care.  However, there will be higher co-pays for most services.
